Do this instead of renovating your home before you sell…

Why investing in home renovations before selling could backfire.

Episode 2 Wait GIF by ABC Network

Many people are told they should update their home before selling to maximize their sales price…

This is not always true, especially with the current low inventory market.

Investing in home renovations before selling could backfire. You may spend the money and time to make improvements that may not lead to a higher selling price and you could ultimately lose money. Or worst yet, make renovations that potential buyers don't like that keep the home from selling altogether.

With so few homes on the market right now for buyers to choose from, there’s no need to invest into costly home improvements to sell your home.

Instead, what I recommend to all of my clients before selling, is to do a pre-listing inspection.

By doing so, we can find any possible issues that may arise later that could deter buyers from paying a premium for your home and make the small repairs prior to listing your home.

While you don’t owe me anything, if you are thinking about selling your home, I’d love the opportunity to interview for the job of selling your home.

There’s many other things in addition to what I mentioned in this email that I’d like to discuss with you to ensure you net the most amount of money possible when you sell your home that other agents fail to recognize.

When you’re ready, feel free to contact me to schedule time to set up a no pressure home consultation.

Until then,
